Roving Restorers

06.03.20  Roving Restorers were out at Janet Carew's in Mooloolah, planting carefully propagated Forest Sheoaks as feed trees for Glossy Black-Cockatoos. Janet is undertaking a research project to determine why the seed of some individual trees is preferred over others. We shared a pleasant morning tea with SE Land Repair who were planting at sites nearby. The Glossy Black-Cockatoo is a threatened species so the findings of this work will be valuable in restoration of habitat.
