Roving Restorers

22.05.17 Meredyth Sauer led a group of 15 Roving Restorers into the thick of the lantana, broad-leafed paspalum and velcro vine along the roadside at Flaxton Mill Rd today. The regeneration of native plants will hopefully bring an end to grass slashing which has a habit of introducing and spreading weeds along roadsides. This will protect the Kondalilla National Park from further weed invasion. After weeding and morning tea, Trevor discussed the covenant on their nearby property and we had a pleasant walk through their weed-free bush. Congratulations to Trevor and Meredith on the fantastic work they have done on their property and road frontage!
