Roving Restorers

29.07.16 Roving Restorers enjoyed a lovely morning working in the Elaman Ck catchment last Friday. We worked our way thru the wall of privet to reveal rocks and epiphytes and other native plants. Habitat restoration undertaken by Rachael Stacy & Kevin Smith is contributing to connectivity from the Aplin forest through to Maleny National Park, and protects a population of a very rare rainforest plant, Corynocarpus rupestris (memorable common name is Glenugie Karaka). The photo shows a beautiful staghorn growing on a specimen of this tree.
