Roving Restorers

25 November, 2013.  Fantastic turnout at Roving Restorers today - 19 people turned up to rope in Mim Coulstock's Morning Glory wonderland. Man with found a role in it all and we had an enjoyable time despite the heat. We were rewarded by beautiful views down into the Obi Valley. Mim’s property provides an important buffer to Maleny National Park (Kidaman Ck section) and protects the catchment of Council's Kirbys Rd Environmental Reserve. Let's hope we can get some control works in the National Park to make sure that Morning Glory doesn't keep spreading in the catchment.

Whilst most of the Roving Restorers crew tangled with the Morning Glory at Curramore, a few diligent workers put in edge plants around the dam to create wildlife habitat.
