Cambroon Weed Vine Workshop

4 November, 2012  Little Yabba Park, Cambroon  (Cambroon landholders only)

Workshop participants took advantage of the opportunity to learn more about the diverse wildlife and forests in the Cambroon area and the threats posed by weed vines such as Madeira Vine, Cats Claw and Dutchmans Pipe. Information was shared about Barung’s project to control these vines in the district and funding opportunities for landholders to undertake work on their properties. Geckoes Wildlife came along  and made friendly introductions to some of the local animals. The sugar gliders will benefit greatly from the eradication of these weeds.
